The Bible is often cited as proof for supernatural metamorphosis.
And many other religions speak of them, like a man turning into an animal or the other way round, read Daniel 5:21 about the king of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar. But supernatural metamorphosis is against the very teachings of the Bible. True it can be observed in nature, caterpillars become butterflies, and tadpoles become frogs, but close observation shows however that these examples of metamorphosis do not involve a change of ”kinds” but are simply stages of development within the same kind.

True transformation.

Go to Romans 12:2 there in the original text, a form of the Greek word me-ta-mor-pho- o is used. It reads: Be transformed(me-ta-mor-phou,sthe) by making your mind over, this refers to a metamorphosis that CAN happen, a complete change of personality!

Those who want to please God must make such change, for the Bible urges: strip off the old personality with its practices and clothe yourselves with a new, which through accurate knowledge is being made new according to the image of the one who created it. Colossians 3:9,10, knowledge may lead to your giving up cherished ideas and notions.
You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Making your mind over means you have to rewrite it, to replace the old with the new, something I have clearly explained in previous articles.

Not just try to keep in, suppress, emotions which remain alive and waiting for the moment you are distracted, for he(the devil) knows you better than you know yourselves.
